We want you to love your books! If something’s not right with your purchase, here’s how returns and refunds work at Two Reading Ducks.

2.1 Eligible Situations

Incorrect, Damaged, or Not as Described
If the book you received is wrong, damaged, or not as described, please return it within 3 days after the estimated delivery date. Once we receive and inspect it (unused, in its original packaging with documentation), you get a full refund of the purchase price, excluding original shipping costs.
Non-Arrival
If your order hasn’t arrived 30 days past the estimated delivery date, you may request a full refund—including shipping—unless tracking shows the item arrived.
 
3. Return Conditions

Items must be unused and in original packaging, including any manuals, tags, or promotional materials.
You bear responsibility for the item until it reaches us. For your protection, return via a traceable shipping method, ideally with insurance.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
No refunds for items damaged in transit—you must initiate a claim with the courier.
Non-refundable: MPesa or credit card fees—these are deducted from your refund.
 
4. Refund Processing
Once we receive and approve your return:

We’ll issue your refund to the original payment method (e.g., mobile money or card), minus any non-refundable fees.
If an item doesn’t arrive, we’ll refund you in full (including shipping).
 
5. How to Return

Contact our Customer Service (include your order number, issue, and preferred resolution—refund or exchange).
We’ll send you return instructions.
Ship the item securely. Be sure to retain your tracking number.
Once received and verified, we’ll process your refund promptly.
 
6. Important Notes

Returns must be initiated within 3 days of the expected delivery date (for eligible cases).
Non-arrival claims must be lodged at least 30 days after the estimated delivery date.
The customer covers return shipping, and books must be returned in sellable condition.
Fees for payment processing won't be refunded.
